Custom newborn and family photography experience in Bury St Edmunds

Hi there,

I’m Klara Balogh-Bona and this is my very first, quick blog post.

I will be slowly writing newer and newer post, including favourite images of sessions, writing tips about for example how to prepare for your photo session, how to prepare for your newborn photo session, and I want to muse about pregnancy, birth and motherhood, because well, those are my favourite topics and that’s what life stage I am in right now.

I am planning on inviting experts to write about their field in guest posts.

I will also post photos about the beautiful custom products I am offering, that are handmade carefully and lovingly in Italy. I love love love my products and I love exceptional quality and design they have. I believe everyone should have a beautiful folio box or album like mines. :)

Let me tell you a bit about my work at Balogh-Bona Photography: I love capturing newborn babies in the little nest of their homes, and most importantly, in the embrace of their parents. Mothers and motherhood are a big focal point for me, so mothers and their baby enjoy my undivided attention.

I love capturing baby in natural poses, and I don’t like to shush baby for hours and hours ( I do try for like 10 minutes)when I know all she/he needs is to snuggle with mama, so that’s what I do, I let baby snuggle with momma and feed if needed (and trust me, it is needed, as newborns are always hungry and that is okay, how else would they grow as fast as they do, if they don’t feed so often?). Then we start again. I love relaxed sessions and I’m always near tears when I retouch my mama-baby snuggling images. That’s how much I love this.

I also do fun, fast and playful family sessions, where the kids get to be kids and you get to snuggle together. I keep them short and fun so everyone enjoys it.

It is a big factor in my sessions, that everyone feels comfortable and has fun.

Then comes my second favourite part, we get to sit down in your home and watch an emotional slide show of all your amazing images (selected and edited by me) while enjoying some cake or cookies (who doesn’t like cookies?), then get to decide if you’d like to enjoy these amazing images in a custom, handmade, modern album, in a handcrafted leather folio box and we will not forget to think about gifts for grandma and grandpa either. This part is so fun and exciting! Then, I’ll get to it and create and design all this artwork for your family and for your home. I’m in love with my job. It’s not a job, it’s my passion.
